Happy Halloween!

Today is the last day of the 31 for 21 blogging challenge. I fell short on two days out of the month, but posted more than once on some days, so I hope that I still came through for the challenge ok. Today is also the last day of Down Syndrome Awareness Month. Today also marks Halloween.

I did not grow up celebrating Halloween, so I don't really get into it that much. I do dress Ethan up every year and take him out trick or treating with Madison and Delaney over in their neighborhood. Last year, Ethan was Buzz Lightyear and walked around in his big walker. This year, Ethan was Buzz Lightyear and he walked one-handed up to the doors. Yes, he was Buzz again, but if you have been paying attention in class, you would already know that Ethan has not grown over the past year and I was not paying for another costume when he couldn't care less what I put him in. He still looks cute as Buzz, so sue me. :-)~

Each time we went up to a door, he was all happy and when it came time to leave he practically put the brakes on and started to fuss. I can just imagine next year when he is running!!! :-)

We had a good day/night. We are really tired now, but I wanted to make sure to get in the blog for the day!





One more thing...
Please say a prayer for my dad's mom, Lillian. She was supposed to have heart surgery today, but fell and hit her head, got a blood clot and ended up having to have the pressure released (or that is what I was told...I think). I still don't know if they were able to move forward with the heart surgery today or not. I know that my dad is looking for flights to Boston to be with her. I am really hoping that he is able to find the right deal to be able to be with his mom during this time. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers for both Lillian and my dad.
