I challenge you to take the pledge- pledge to eliminate retard(ed) from your vocabulary. It is a very hurtful word used by society and, most importantly, it is hurtful towards my son and so many other persons with intellectual disabilities around the world. Eliminating the word and ENDING its use is the right thing to do and it is the respectful thing to do.
Nothing makes me lose respect for someone faster than them tossing out the R word
