C25K, W1D1

I did it.  I completed Day One of Week One.  I was completely anxious about running in the cold and then Mary told me that her apartment complex has a workout room with a treadmill.  SCORE!  I was lucky to be the only one in the room at the time.  It wasn't bad at all.  I made sure to walk for about five minutes, stop and stretch, and then get into the program.  After it was over, I spent a fair amount of time stretching some more.  I am so afraid of re-injuring my calves....

  1. I didn't realize how important stretching was until I got plantar fasciitis. So now I make sure to do a lot of stretching before I walk/run. I haven't had a problem so far. **knock wood**
