SPD & Nail Trimming

It sucks.

Last night, I was seriously asking God WHY me?  If I am going to have a child with sensory processing disorder {SPD}, then WHY do I have rheumatoid arthritis {RA}?  And, if I am going to have a child with SPD and have RA, then why is my RA the worst in my hands?  WHY, WHY, WHY???

We have had a limited amount of non-freak out nail trimmings.  My mom cut Ethan's nails in a snap last year...I need her trick.  Ethan pulls his arms, wiggles his fingers, kicks his legs...the grip I need to keep in order to actually clip his nails makes my RA-stricken hands beg for mercy.  It is such an ordeal.  We either have to pin him down to the floor, or I need Scott to hold him down.  I know it's frightening for Ethan and I know he can't help the freak out's, but oh.my.gosh.  We have to figure something out!

Get It Down; 31 for 21
