Labor Day

So, I saw this idea on Renee's blog today. Of course I'm a day late. So, just pretend it's yesterday for me, k? In honor of Labor Day, let's talk about, well- labor.

How long were your labors?
Long enough to make most women jealous. Got to the hospital at 10pm, had him at 1:21am. Went from 6cm to 10 cm in 20 minutes and pushed him out 20 minutes after that. Doctor said that if I ever have another baby that I have to go to the hospital with the first contraction!

How did you know you were in labor?
Contractions every 5 minutes or closer. Lost the "plug" earlier that day, so I figured it was time. Water broke at the hospital.

Where did you deliver?
Mercy Hospital, Merced, California

Drugs?
Not a one. Thank you very much. *ROAR*

C-section?
Nope.

Who delivered?
Dr. Samuel Loredo
Claire Alvarez, RN

Who was present?
Scott, my sister Kamrin, and my Mom (though over in the back of the room because she snuck her way back in after the staff said only TWO were allowed. It was fine though)

My mother-in-law was in the lobby- she heard me scream during the last push. My dad was in his truck- outside in the parking lot with the windows up and the radio on. He heard that scream too! It was only one. One scream. Then, he was out.
