He's Miserable

After the trip to the ER yesterday, we were given some eye ointment and sent along our merry way. But, as soon as the numbing drops that the ER put in wore off, he has wanted to rub his eyes ever since. He looks like he went a round with Mike Tyson- poor baby. He has not slept in a couple of days really, which means the same for me. I have paged the opthamologist to see if we can get some numbing drops called in to help with the healing. We have his arms in restraints with socks over them to try to keep him from rubbing his eyes. Poor baby is miserable.

And, those scratches on his cheek? Those are from his resisting the numbing drops in the ER yesterday. Ethan has the magical talent of growing arms and needing to be held down by 4 adults in order to put drops in his eyes. He is beat up! :-(
