Doing a litte better

Ethan and I took a very long nap this afternoon and he seems to be doing much better. He still looks like he took a punch, but he is not wanting to rub it nearly as much, so I am assuming that means that the corneal damage is healing. When I go to put the ointment in his eye, it is still fire red.

I spoke with his opthamologist this morning and he called in some atropine. We were not able to get any numbing drops. Apparently, they will mess with the healing process = bummer. The atropine would basically take a little of the soreness away. Hey, anything that helps! His dr. also said that he should be seen tomorrow. Whether I take him back to the Baptist or to Greensboro is my big decision at the moment. I guess I will make that final decision after I see how Ethan looks in the morning.
