Tell me that Ethan is not the only child out there who does what he needs to do as long as you're not watching!!??! LOL!
He will throw a fit doing puzzles for OT, but if I put it in front of him at the table and walk away- guess what? That stinker can do a puzzle!
His school PT jokes that he's the only patient she does physical therapy with from a distance.
Just another example of Ethan's timing and what he feels like doing at that moment.

LOL We just had this in therapy. Payton does much better if I'm not there.
ReplyDeleteAngela is STILL this way. We just started back to private OT, and I'm staying out of the room. When she's done her OT quick tells me what they worked on. Her school OT does the same thing as Ethan's OT. She'll show Angela how to do something, then pretend to get involved with the computer or something. That's the only way Angela will try it on her own.
ReplyDeleteKayla does nothing unless SHE wants to do it. It's maddening. If I sit with her at the table she cries, but if I just leave something out she'll do it on her own.
ReplyDeleteI don't even go into the therapy session with Karli for this very reason. If I'm in there, NOTHING will get done!
ReplyDeleteKennedy used to be the same way! LOL She is just now starting to cooperate!
