I had my face- yes, face- threaded today. Ok, the eyebrows didn't hurt that bad, but the lip and cheeks? OMG. Maybe there is a reason that God made me furry, because that was like taking an epilady to my face.
With that said, my face is as smooth as a baby bottom and I am noticing all of the imperfections that my blonde fuzz covered! LOL. I am not sure if I will keep up with the "Full Facial", but I would have my lip and eyebrows done again by threading. I hate the way waxing makes my skin feel weird for a day or so. I was red at first, but it was gone after an hour. Ah, the pain we go through to feel pretty...

ReplyDeleteI had my eyebrows threaded once years ago... it was very painful and looked terrible.
ReplyDeleteI stick with waxing at the spa only... but then again I have black hair and thick eyebrows so it's easy to mess them up.
You crack me up Kristen....I was thinking of trying it but the only place for us here is in the middle of the mall too....what do they say about it growing back? Does it grow back slower than waxing or quicker?
ReplyDeleteThreading is the only way to go. Kamrin and I will never go back to waxing. Glad to have another convert. Although, as with anything, getting someone who is an expert in the tradition is a MUST.
