Six years ago, my beautiful cousin passed away. She was a beautiful, bright, smart, loving, cheerful young lady taken too soon. I am not sure if we will ever understand why Mel got sick or why she was taken from us, but I do know that she is with God and that is the only thing that brings me comfort with Mel being gone.
