Do you BBQ, grill out, or cook out?
When I was in California, we BBQ'd. Here, in North Carolina, it's cooking out. I read the other day that people in the middle say grilling out. So, just curious- what do YOU say when you cook bbq (hamburgers/hot dogs) on the grill? :-)

In MN we stay "grill out"
ReplyDeleteWe always say BBQ, but as you know, we're from CA! LOL Here I think they say cook out...
ReplyDeleteGrill out... BBQ is an actual meal. Chipped beef or pork in a thick red sauce. I"m sure you've had some by now! lol I think in NC it's more of a mustardy sauce? I like it thick, sweet and slightly spicey.
ReplyDeleteBut yeah, we'd say grill out in GA .. maybe have a cook out. But not BBQ.. that would..everyone would come looking for the actual meal. lol They'd see hamburgers and say.. "Are ya;ll sure ya'll are from aroun' here?
I'm a midwest girl and we grill out.
