UPDATE: My Mom

She was discharged from the hospital with a theory that her bile duct may be clogged with "sludge".  She has to call a GI doc first thing tomorrow.  And, my sister and I will make sure that it happens!  We are not happy that they sent her on her merry way (drugged up, of course) without anything but a "theory".  From what I have read, bile duct obstructions are serious business and should not be taken lightly! 

The good news is that I talked with her last night and she sounded really good.  She said that the reason for the blood was because of her intubation during surgery. 

My Mom is one tough cookie, so she'll be just fine.  And, if she doesn't make the phone call, one of her daughter's will!  :)
