Feeling Helpless...

My Mom had her shoulder surgery yesterday.  Something is very wrong now.  She has been in excruciating pain and vomiting some blood.  My Dad took her to the ER in Oakhurst because the pain was that bad.  She is now being ambulanced to the hospital in Clovis.  She is still vomiting and has a high white blood count.  And, I feel helpless. 

I know that I couldn't do anything if I were there, but it's the fact that I *can't* be there right now.  I feel helpless waiting for the next call or text to come in with any news.  I have even been searching airfare.  I know that my Dad is worried, but trying to be calm and strong for Mommy's sake.  My Mom is strong, but I just hate that she's going through this in the first place!
