It seems that we may have an answer to all of the fevers! It appears that Ethan has a significant B-cell deficiency. What does that mean? In non-confusing terms, it means that he can't fight off illness that attacks his B-cells because he doesn't have enough of them to fight off anything. How do we fix it? Well, more blood was drawn today, but he will probably have to have routine IVIG transfusions (I like to call it immunity in a bottle). The enzyme that they were making sure was present in order to metabolize his 6-MP (chemo pill) is present, so that wasn't the problem and no other obvious problems have come back from the bone marrow (great news).

So, Ethan is back at school and doing great! He had a great speech therapy session yesterday! He was bribed with his "foot". His Aunt Kamrin finds the foot deeply disturbing...

I am still not feeling well, so I am going to stay home and try to get better. Stuffy noses and heads are never any fun!

Ethan was so tired the other night that he started to fall asleep on the floor with his snake!

Here's to another two weeks of feeling well!
